NSW State Government | Parramatta, Sydney CBD or Orange location $45.30 - $62.10 per hour super | 35 hours per week 4-month contract | Hybrid - WFH 2 days per week About the organisation Our large NSW State Government client supports primary industries and regional communities across NSW, with a strong focus on regional development and the management of natural resources. They are seeking experienced Asset Management Accountants to join their Finance team on a fixed-term contract through to June 2026, based in Orange, Parramatta or Sydney CBD, supporting the processing, reconciliation and reporting of Property, Plant and Equipment. Key Responsibilities Process and maintain PPE asset registers and disposals Reconcile fixed asset, accrual, prepayment and clearing accounts Assist with the coordination and completion of annual PPE stocktakes Prepare and post journals accurately and in line with policy and legislation Support audit processes and respond to information requests Manage day-to-day finance enquiries and escalate issues where required Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting About You You are a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced finance environment. You take pride in accuracy, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality financial services.
